Multilingual Formatting and DTP Solutions
Your translated document needs to look right, read right, and be ready to publish. We handle the formatting so your team does not have to.
Your Layout Should Work in Every Language
Translation is only half the job. When a patient consent form breaks at the layout, or a government notice displays corrupted characters, the document fails the person it was meant for. Eurolize provides multilingual formatting and desktop publishing for organizations that need their translated materials to look exactly as intended, in any language, for any audience
Right-to-Left Language Support
Arabic, Dari, Farsi, Pashto, Urdu, and Hebrew all read right to left. That means the full document structure needs to be mirrored, not just the text direction. We rebuild the layout so the document reads correctly for the person it is meant for.
Text Expansion and Reflow
Translated text rarely fits the space the original occupied. Some languages run significantly longer than English. Others compress. We adjust spacing, line height, and text boxes to preserve your original layout without cutting content or distorting the design.
Complex Script and Font
Not every font supports every language. Characters in Amharic, Khmer, Burmese, and Devanagari require specific font configurations. We check compatibility before formatting begins so nothing arrives as a broken character or a blank box.
Print and Digital Ready Files
Every file we deliver is ready to publish. A native speaker reviews the formatted document before delivery to confirm nothing was cut, split incorrectly, or lost in the layout process. Your team can send it to print or post it online without additional work.
What We Format

Government and Agency Documents
Public notices, benefit letters, voting materials, agency forms, and community publications formatted for print and digital distribution in the languages your community speaks.

Healthcare and Clinical Materials
Patient consent forms, discharge instructions, health education materials, and clinic intake documents. Formatting accuracy matters in healthcare. A misaligned text box or a missing line in a consent form has direct consequences for the patient reading it.

Legal Documents and Court Filings
Formatted exhibits, translated declarations, certified document packages, and legal correspondence ready for submission. Law firms, public defenders, immigration attorneys, and courts receive files they can use immediately without additional reformatting.

Training and Educational Materials
Employee handbooks, onboarding packets, school district communications, and workforce training documents formatted in the languages your staff or students actually read.

Technical and Regulatory Documentation
Compliance manuals, safety data sheets, instructional materials, and regulatory filings with numbering structures, table layouts, and technical formatting preserved across every language version.
How We Format Your Documents
1
Document Review
We review your source file before we begin. We check the layout, identify languages that need special handling, and flag any fonts, text boxes, or design elements that will need adjustment for the target language.
2
Translation Integration
We place the translated text into your existing layout. Where text expands or contracts, we adjust the formatting to preserve the visual structure. Nothing gets cut. Nothing gets forced into a space that does not fit.
3
Script and Direction Adjustment
For right-to-left languages, we mirror the full document structure. For languages with complex scripts, we confirm character rendering and font compatibility across every page before moving forward.
4
Native Speaker Review
A native speaker reviews the formatted document and looks for things a designer would miss. A word split incorrectly at a line break, a layout choice that does not read naturally in the target language, or a character that rendered incorrectly on a specific page.
5
Quality Assurance
We run a final check against the source document to confirm nothing was omitted, nothing is misaligned, and the file is ready to use. We deliver in the format you need, whether that is a print ready PDF, an editable source file, or a document formatted for screen reading.
FAQs
What happens to my layout when the translated text is longer than the original?
This is one of the most common issues in multilingual formatting. Some languages run 25 to 30 percent longer than English, which pushes text against borders and breaks page layouts. Others compress and leave gaps. We adjust line spacing, text box dimensions, and character spacing to keep your layout intact without removing any of the translated content.
Can you handle Arabic, Farsi, and other right-to-left languages?
Yes. Right-to-left formatting is not just a matter of changing text direction. The entire document structure needs to be mirrored, including image placement, bullet alignment, table column order, and page margin logic. We rebuild the layout for right-to-left documents rather than applying a quick flip, which produces incorrect results in most design applications.
Which software do you work in?
We work in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, QuarkXPress, Microsoft Publisher, and Microsoft Word. For technical documentation, we also handle FrameMaker and MadCap Flare files. If your source file is in a format not listed here, contact us before submitting and we will confirm whether we can work with it.
What if our font does not support the target language?
Many standard corporate fonts do not include the character sets needed for languages like Amharic, Khmer, Devanagari, or Cyrillic. When that happens, we identify a font substitution that is visually compatible with your original design and capable of rendering the target language correctly. We walk you through the options before making any changes to your files.
Do you deliver files that are ready to print or publish immediately?
Yes. Every file goes through a final review by both a native speaking linguist and a formatting specialist before it leaves our team. You should be able to send it to your printer or publish it digitally without any additional work. If anything needs your input before we can finalize the file, we flag it before delivery.
